Ruk and Keira are the first two humans to set foot on the Grand Circle of Light, and it’s everything they could hope for. As they learn about the power of the circles of light from a race of angels, there’s something else unsettling that they learn: these spiritual beings are prize logic above all and are devoid of compassion.
When Ruk and Keira intervene in order to save a legendary unicorn that the angels seek to capture, the utopia they had thought existed now begins to unravel.
And unknown to them, an ancient darkness awaits in the shadows. One that has waited to reveal itself.
