I’ve had the pleasure of reading the first installment of this series, and having read Devorah Fox’s other fantasy books, I’ve gotta say–Lady Blackwing is a gem! Ms. Fox takes some very fun fantasy/sci-fi concepts and weave them into Mercedes’ story, where she finds herself thrown into a world of spectacular powers and frightening consequences.
